About IntuitiveUI
A design and engineering consultancy that builds web applications for teams who cannot afford to get them wrong

We build software that earns its keep
IntuitiveUI is a UK registered consultancy, established in 2019. We design and engineer web applications, modernise legacy systems, and help teams adopt the practices that keep software healthy long after launch.
We are deliberately senior. The people who scope your work are the people who do it. Over six years we have led greenfield platforms, rebuilt creaking monoliths, set frontend and architecture standards inside large teams, and shipped products in sectors where security and data integrity are not optional. Reinsurance, mortgages, genomics, recruitment, car rental, and most recently our own AI products
Our home is Cambridge, with a satellite office in Zurich that keeps us close to clients across mainland Europe. Most delivery happens remotely, with time on site where it helps.
How we think about the work
Good software is mostly good decisions made early and held to. We spend real time on discovery and architecture because that is where projects are won or lost. We design before we build, and we build to standards we can defend. When we leave, we want the team to be better than we found it, with code and conventions they understand and can extend.
We have seen what happens when none of that is true. A lot of our work has been rescuing projects that skipped these steps. The MortgageHub rebuild took a 45-person legacy structure down to three lean teams working on solid foundations. The reinsurance platform we led for Xceedance became the template the wider organisation used for its next migrations. That is the kind of outcome we aim for.

We are small on purpose. It means you get the senior people on every engagement, and it means we only take on work we can do properly.
